Welcome To My Toy Party!
Scrappy Jessi is hosting a toy party! So I'm here to share some of my all time favorite childhood toys with you! Some I still have, others are long gone with only a few pictures left to remember them by. While looking for pictures to share, I realized that I really wasn't a "toy" kinda girl! I preferred to let my imagination run wild and spent my childhood days playing dress up, house, circus, mystery, Betty's Bakery, Little House on the Prairie in addition to playing in my treehouse, the sandbox, riding my bike, twirling a baton, riding my big wheel, swinging on my swingset, etc! But, I did love my Barbie and Dawn dolls as well as baby dolls, stuffed animals, games, my dollhouse and a very special McDonaldland Playset! So, here are lots of pictures to share! Take a walk down memory lane with me why don't you?

I love all of your dolls! My boys had big wheels just like that, they rode them until they just fell apart!
Wow, you had a Shirley Temple doll! Such great photos and wonderful toys!! I had forgotten I had a baton too! Come see my toys too!! Will visit again!! Lori
You have some awesome photos here. I agree with Jessi, love the dollhouse! I know I begged for one. As a grown up I made my own, not that fancy, but cute.
Thanks for sharing your memories.
I LOVe that first picture of you on the big wheel with the doll on the back~ I used to do that too!!! And that McDonald land game is the best!!!
Ooohhh, I had the McDonald's set too. Loved that thing and wish I still had it. I, too, loved to twirl my baton...so much fun. I don't think little girls twirl much these days and they don't know what they are missing. Loved your photos!
We had some of the same toys: Dawn doll, connect four, rubiks cube and more! I saw some toys on your blog that I had forgotten about :-)
Have a fabulous day!

I had a HUGE collection of Dawn dolls. Just adored those. And my big wheel: the lean green machine! Love all of your pictures. Absolutely wonderful!!!
So funny... my younger cousin love playing Uno today and I've just brought my friends daughter a memory game - some toys never go out of fashion!

Wow! You dug up cool old pictures and everything! Loved your post. You must have grown up in the US... I recognize most but not all of your toys (I'm in Canada)... but man, I loved Holly Hobbie!
Come over and play in my toybox too!
I'm so jealous! You had such neat toys. Especially that Cinderella board game!
Awwww. I had Dawn dolls too!!! Not for the obvious reason but just because they were the thing to have! What in the world did I do with them???? Wish I still had my dolls, I took such good care of them too ~ what a wonderful toy selection you had girl!! xxoo, Dawn
