Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve began with Tim changing the light bulb that burned out the other day! Both Junior and Garden Kitty made appearances and checked out their gifts. They left when they were told that they had to wait until the next day to open them. Tim made one more batch of his world famous Christmas punch and then we sorted out presents in piles in anticipation of Christmas Day! Poor Tim got the job of laying on his back and digging out Mom's presents from way underneath the den tree! We took some silly pictures with my recently acquired mistletoe headband (the lengths one has to go to be assured a kiss on Christmas, wink, wink!) and then Mom, Tim and I opened our stockings, presents from Dad and a couple of other presents to get a head start! Tim LOVED the new digital TV my dad sent him for our kitchen! It can run on battery too which is always good during storm season! He also was happy to get another big BP gas card from Dad which will last quite awhile with the cheap gas prices that have returned! I was thrilled with my gift cards from favorite restaurants, Archivers scrapbook store and McD's for chocolate chip cookie fixes, a check from Dad (yay!) and a few things for my collections! Dad also sent an adorable frame filled with pictures of Junior which was made with lots of love! We also now have quite the stash of empty cat themed picture frames waiting for just the right picture to be added! All in all it was a wonderful Christmas Eve filled with yummy food, holiday music, decorations, family and wonderful gifts!
